** The process for requesting transcripts will remain unchanged. **
Eventually, Hollins University will become the custodian of our transcripts. At that point, alumnae will contact Hollins University and request those transcripts, just as they would contact Sweet Briar.
All requests, whether made in person, by mail, email or fax, must be in writing and signed by the student. Sweet Briar College does not accept telephone or third party requests for transcripts. Requests for transcripts are processed in the order they are received. Accelerated ordering and delivery are available for a fee.
There is no charge for transcripts printed and mailed from the office.
Sweet Briar College does not fax transcripts. However, we now offer emailed transcripts to students of the class of 2000 and beyond. Please be sure the recipient will accept it as official.
Remember: The student is the only person who can request a transcript. We will not accept a request from anyone else, including parents or employer, unless they have a signed release from the student.
Please direct questions regarding transcripts to (434) 381-6179 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday or review the Transcript Frequently Asked Questions page.
If you need to request an official transcript from Junior Year in Spain/France, please contact the appropriate office. Junior Year in Spain (434) 381-6295 or Junior Year in France (434) 381-6109.
We look forward to serving you.
